Unfortunately, Mr. Murray Schooner recently passed away in February, 28, 2010. He is missed by many who knew him. Rufus Davis (CEO and President of Mainstreet Technologies, Inc.) states that, “Mr. Schooner will truly be missedtruly missed. He was the first person I met when I began Mainstreet Technologies, Inc. in the government arena. He was a very humble and a very influential person for as long as I’ve known him. He always took the time to counsel small businesses, from advising how to increase sales, to effective marketing in the government sector. This award is very meaningful because I know how much Mr. Schooner meant to a lot of people, especially in government contracting. He is going to be truly missed.” Ken Davis (Principal) also shared “Murray set the standard for small business advocacy. We are very grateful and learned a lot from his passion and actions for small businesses.”
